The cultural program comprehensively and fully provides demonstration of the achievements of Kazakhstan's culture and art,» - said Andrey Khazbulatov.
“We are pleased that we have a great opportunity to present a rich heritage of famous artist Nicholas Roerich to the whole world. The main task of the Museum is to spread his ideas about art and culture, which reflected in the motto of Pax Cultura - «The World through Culture».
It’s worth remarking that the exhibition «In search of Shambhala: Masterpieces from the Nicholas Roerich Museum New York» will be presented outside the United States for the first time", - in his turn, said Gvido Trepsha.
Nicholas Roerich is a well-known traveler; hundreds of his works were created on the route of the Central Asian expedition to Chinese Turkestan, Mongolia, India, Tibet and Altai. In the spring of 1926, N. and E. Roerich's expedition found itself in Eastern Kazakhstan near Zaisan Lake. Then the expedition traveled by steam through Ust-Kamenogorsk, Semipalatinsk, Pavlodar to Omsk.
